I'm not a Mozart fan, but this production shows that opera can be fun! Scheming servants, random relationship testing by going away with 'the army' and returning disguised as Dennis-Hopper style bikers, a bet...

Nicely modernised, with impressive singing whilst eating donuts, singing into a mobile phone and a strangely shabby chic set. Almost a happy ending in which everyone's left confused by who's who... Worth watching alone for the extraordinary singing, great acting, Despina (one of the scheming servants) and humourous subtitles.
