2020 has been a strange year. It seemed with social distancing that arts and culture would diminish because all the venues are safely shut.
And yet... Arts and culture provide a much needed boost of positivity, distraction, escapism and a glimpse of the beautiful... in a world that can be stressful and confusing. There's been a wonderful flourishing of online arts from Zoom social distancing orchestras, to online solo playing and wonderful streaming of plays and performances from the National Theatre and Royal Opera House. The London Mozart Players
I'm not a Mozart fan, but... this orchestra is great. They've been running a series of performances (social distancing from home) or introducing a pre-recorded piece that they would have been playing live. The intro here really brought the music to life and the recording is so sweet and dramatic.
